If you're traveling on public transport or don't want others to hear the app's sound, switch on silent mode:

Via app: my profile → ⚙️ settings (top right corner) → silent mode
or within lessons, in the menu in the top right-hand corner
Via web: ⚙️ settings (bottom left-hand corner) → further options → account settings → lesson sound effects
